We had no business getting chickens, but ... meet Chick-chick and Lulu! Hopefully they are girls as we aren't allowed to keep roosters in Oxnard! They are so fun watch and a great experience for Noa. It certainly reminds me of growing up as a kid, my dad was all about letting me have any pet I wanted!

Noa wasn't feeling well with her throat and ears so I took her to the doctor to have ears checked... better to have a false alarm than a full-blown ear infection at 3 a.m. All looked ok, so maybe a little virus. She is 46 in. tall and weighs 58 lbs. She's in the 94th percentile for height, and 98th percentile for weight.
I'm so thankful for a healthy girl!

Noa graduated from Teacher Tanya's preschool class! She has been with her 2 years and is now headed to kindergarten! The teacher presented her with a Pre-K diploma, had a slideshow presentation, and a potluck! Teacher Tanya says she's a talented artist, and sees her drawing for Disney in the future!
I've been so lucky to have worked right next to her school. She had an amazing school experience, and working right next to her couldn't have been more convenient!

Yesterday, Noa and I hiked Arroyo Verde's trails for about an hour and a half. She was going nonstop! We tackled a new trail and ended up much higher than we should have been, I should've known better ... it was quite steep going up, but we made it down in one piece!
We saw three lizards on our hike! I enjoy spending time with her, building a solid mother-daughter relationship.
Noa has had an amazing preschool experience. This week is Teacher Appreciation Week so we made a poster board that says, 'thanks 4 teaching me a LOTTO stuff this year' ... and attached scratchers!
Teacher Tanya and the entire staff are worth a million bucks, hope they win big!
Leaving you home with grandma while I go on a little vacation. I left you a special treat for everyday that I'm gone... movies, make-up, bracelets, candy, a Mermaid Barbie etc ... I would have taken you with me but you had to be five years old... in hindsight, I probably should have waited for you to turn five!
I told you that you could be in charge while I'm gone and sleep in my bed every night... you were so excited! I hope you are going to be a good girl while I'm gone! If you learn to ride your bike while I'm gone, mommy will buy you a new bike when I get home. If not, I'll take you somewhere special.

An after school visit with YaYa ... nails and ice cream. Noa was exceptionally loving today. Yaya is 99 and Noa is 4.5 years old. YaYa's favorite is chocolate with marshmallow topping, Noa is eating chocolate!
